My picks are not connected in anyway, except, of course, they are all things I love. Up7 (Il Piede) by Gaetano Pesce – The oversized scale and the Pop form fascinate me. It would look great in my apartment. Tolomeo Lamp by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina – I work hard and I love oversized task lamps that you can direct light right where you need it. Richard, are you listening? Rocking chair, model 10 by Thonet – a sentimental choice – I did an art project in college drawn from a 70s fashion advertisement that included this rocker. The lyrical lines. Pair of American Horn chairs – I like my modern messy – I had never seen anything like these before and they will look perfect when I buy that lodge in Minnesota. Romweber dining table – I love the dynamic form of the base and the subtle pattern on the top, with the leaves it is perfect for a party. Tray table and stand by Piero Fornasetti – I do graphic design, how could I not love Fornasetti? The play of pattern and scale are perfect.
